Summer outfits, hairstyles and make up inspirations

In today's blog post I will be talking about my favourite summer outfits, hairstyles and make up inspirations. This post will also feature my friend Alina who is wearing some of the outfits. Although it's no longer August and we're soon approaching autumn, we can occasionally get warm weather in September(if you live in the UK) so this can still be beneficial. 

I personally don't wear my hair up often, but I found a hairstyle I absolutely loved wearing this summer. This was a loose, messy ponytail. This hairstyle looks very summery and boho chic. When curling hair it's best if you work with smooth sleek hair, so I would often recommend straightening hair before hand or if your hair has a naturally straight texture just add some serum to smooth the hair completely. If you're wanting to achieve smooth tousled curls; make sure you section your hair and take big chunks of hair rather than small. This will also achieve a natural and effortless look.

When hair is curled you're able to try out many different styles. A style I really liked wearing this summer was half up half down curls. In the summer it can sometimes be too hot to wear hair completely down but by wearing it like this can keep hair out of your face. This hairstyle is really simple and cute and can be worn with straight hair too.

I absolutely love this outfit because it is very versatile and can be worn causally or formally. The white jeans teamed with the statement paisley shirt really compliment each other and gives the outfit a very summery feel. 

This summer a really popular look was nude lips and bold eyes.
 For this look I used:
 maybeline masterpiece eye liner

 benefit wild card (betty) lipstick
 (tip- use a lipstick brush to apply)
 Rimmel match perfection foundation
 Mac sheer tone blush
 They're Real benefit mascara

To create a very sophisticated and elegant look; why not try a fedora hat? this is a great look for a more formal occasion but can be worn casually depending on the outfit. Here Alina is wearing a beautiful floral jumpsuit from topshop, the fedora hat really compliments the print of the outfit. The jumpsuit looks great with flat sandals, wedged heel, or even court shoes! This outfit can be adjusted to fit any occasion.

A new trend that has recently returned back to highstreet 

stores is flares! Many celebrities have been wearing flared trousers such as Kim Karashian and Kylie Jenner. I recently purchased a pair of flared trousers with a floral print. The trousers look great with a plain basic crop top, either black or white. You would often see taller people wear flares, but it's not entirely true. Flared trousers are great for creating length and gives the illusion of longer legs. I would normally wear trousers with a a pair of wedged sandals to give height. In this look I am also wearing a fedora hat which goes really well the shoes.

One of my favourite everyday/casual looks is my high waisted skirt! I absolutely love wearing this skirt because it's cute and basic and goes with pretty much anything! I would often wear my denim skirt with a crop top and either a pair of sandals or converse; sometimes even heels, depending on what the occasion is.
