6 summer beauty hacks

Summer is finally here, the season we have all been waiting for! Although this season is great, it also means that make up can be an issue in the heat. The summer is the perfect opportunity to let your skin breathe and allow your natural beauty to shine through.

1. MOISTURISE I couldn't stress this enough. Although this is a very simple tip(that most of us do anyway) a lot of people tend to forget. Moisturising is extremely important during any time of the year but it's especially important to moisturise in the summer. You don't even have to spend a lot on a decent moisturiser; my favourite is the 'NIVEA soft FACE/BODY/HANDS moisturising cream' this product is great as it's multi purpose (so it saves money) and glides onto the skin beautifully. The cream also provides vitamin E and jojoba oil which are great for your skin, and it only costs £3! What more could you want?

2. Swap foundation for BB cream! Making this swap will allow your skin to breathe and still allows you to wear make up. Look out for BB creams that provide SPF so your skin is protected when exposed to sun. A new product I have been introduced to from my 'Look Fantastic Beauty Box' is 'Spa magik BB cream' a regular 50ml bottle would cost around £13.50 and can be found on their website https://shopforspa.com/. This BB cream is great as it gives a beautiful, light and flawless finish that evens out the skin and adapts to any skin tone!

3. HIGHLIGHT Highlighting and strobing has become a very popular trend over the past year. This is one of my favourite beauty looks as it's great for enhancing your skins complexion and creates a beautiful, dewy glow. Using a soft, fluffy brush starting from the top of your cheek bones taking the brush up towards your brow bone creating a C shape. This will create a lovely, natural glow. My favourite highlighter is 'Mac's soft and gentle powder highlighter', £24. This highlighter has beautiful rose gold undertones and creates a
gorgeous sun kissed glow.

4.BRONZE Bronzer is great for   adding that
extra bit of enhancement to your tan as well as being a quick way to add some definition to your cheek bones! Using an angled brush lightly dust along your cheek bones for a subtle contour. One of my favourite bronzers is 'Seventeen instant glow bronzing powder' £4.

5.LIPS The heat can sometimes dry your lips out so its important to keep them moisturised as well as your skin. If you're a regular matte lipstick wearer try 'Lush popcorn lip scrub'  £5.50 this scrub is great as it's made from all natural ingredients and also includes coconut oil which is great for dry skin. This scrub exfoliates lips and should be used prior to any balms or lipsticks, it's also edible and it tastes
AMAZING.

6. Another product that is great for keeping your skin looking beautiful all day is 'The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist' £9.50. This product is great for setting your make up and is something I like to keep in my bag with me to refresh my face. The spray has rose water in it which smells great and helps to control excess oils.
